Polish Children Group “Krasnoludki” and Polish Youth Alliance, Canberra

The key objectives of the Polish Youth Alliance of Canberra and the Polish Children Group “Krasnoludki” are to:

  • promote Polish culture and Polish national heritage; 
  • raise an awareness of Polish history, language and culture in Australia;
  • assist people of Polish descent and in particular Polish youth and children in developing an understanding of their Polish roots and retaining their national  identity for future generations;
  • connect people of Polish descent in Canberra with Poland, its culture and current affairs;
  • integrate the Polish community, facilitate and build Polish community networks and relationships;
  • create new platforms and opportunities for cooperation amongst the Polish community of Canberra; and
  • promote and raise awareness of the Polish people’s contribution to Australia and the Australian culture (longer term objective); and
  • reinforce the position of the Polish community amongst Australian multicultural society.
